MacKay Rays Illusion

The MacKay Ray Illusion was created in by neuroscientist Donald M. MacKay in 1957. This illusion works by tricking they eye into thinking that the image is shimmering when you focus on the centre of the pattern. However, all the image actually is is a series of radial repeated radial lines.
